Minecraft server crash log analyzer
Paste your server log or crash report and get the likely cause and the fix. It runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
How it works
The analyzer looks for the messages that Java, Paper and the common plugins print for the problems we see most often: the wrong Java, running out of memory, a port in use, a plugin for another version, a missing dependency, a broken config file, a damaged world and a frozen server.
It shows the line it found, why that usually happens and what to do about it. It is a helper, not a diagnosis: read the lines around the error as well.
Questions
Is my log sent anywhere?
No. The analysis runs in your browser. Nothing you paste leaves your computer.
Which file should I paste?
Paste logs/latest.log after the crash, or a file from the crash-reports folder. The error is usually near the end of the file, and the first error is more useful than the last one.
It found nothing. What now?
Not every problem has a known message. Look for the first line with ERROR or Exception, and search for it together with the name of the plugin that appears next to it. Updating the plugin and the server software fixes most of them.
Can it find lag?
It spots the "Can't keep up" message and freezes, but to find what is slow you need a profile. Install the spark plugin and run /spark profiler.
