Looking for a Minehut alternative?
Minehut has a large community and a lobby of servers. If you want a plain server of your own that you control fully, here is how Saryno compares.
No card needed. 1 GB free forever.
The short version
Minehut changed in 2023 to give free servers a daily time limit, which the company explained as a way to cover the cost of free servers. Saryno keeps a free tier too, with limits shown up front, and sells always-on memory by the GB.
- Your own server address: every Saryno server has its own name, such as
yourserver.play.saryno.com. - Full file access: edit configs, upload worlds, run any plugin jar and read the log.
- Choose your version: from 1.8 to the newest, and switch later without losing your world.
- Pay by the GB: buy the memory you need, split it across servers, change it any time.
Where Minehut may suit you better
Minehut puts your server in a shared network where players discover each other's servers. If finding new players matters more to you than controlling your own server, that lobby is a real advantage. Saryno is for people who have their own group of players and want their own server.
