A Minecraft server with a shareable 3D map
A map your players can open in a browser is one of the best things you can add to a server. On Saryno it is one checkbox.
No card needed. 1 GB free forever.
How it works
Saryno installs BlueMap for you and serves the map from the dashboard. Open it from your server page, or share the link with your players. You can protect the link with a password.
- One click to add the map to a Paper server
- A link you can share, with an optional password
- Works on servers on any machine in the cluster
- The map draws itself after the first start, which can take a few minutes
What your players see
The map shows your world in 3D, with the buildings, terrain and trees as they are in the game. Players can rotate it, zoom in, switch to a flat view, or fly the camera around. It is a good way to show new players where to go, and to share your builds with people who are not on the server right now.
Add it in three steps
1. Open your Paper server and go to the Map tab. 2. Press "Add the 3D map". 3. Wait a few minutes while the first render finishes, then open the link.
- Share the link in your Discord or on your server list
- Protect it with a password if you only want your own group to see it
- The map keeps updating as players build
Good to know
The map is rendered from your world, so a large world takes longer to draw the first time. Players see the world as it was last rendered, and it keeps updating while the server runs.
Questions
Which map plugin does it use?
BlueMap. It makes a 3D map you can rotate and zoom in the browser.
Can I keep the map private?
Yes. Add a password to the link and only people with it can open the map.
