Free Minecraft server hosting, with no ads and no queue
Every Saryno account gets 1 GB of memory free, forever. Pick a version, press Create, and share the address with your friends.
No card needed. 1 GB free forever.
What you get for free
Free should not mean crippled. The free server is a real Minecraft server on its own machine, and you control it from your browser.
- 1 GB of memory and one server, with no card needed
- Paper or Vanilla, every version from 1.8 to the newest
- Plugins from Modrinth and Hangar, or upload your own jar files
- A file manager, a live console and the server log in your browser
- A 3D map of your world your friends can open, with an optional password
- No ads and no queue to wait in
How the free server works
To keep the free tier free, an empty server goes to sleep. When the last player leaves, Saryno saves the server exactly as it is, memory included, and stops it. When a friend connects, it wakes within a few seconds and your world is where you left it.
A free server can stay awake for up to two hours at a time, which is plenty for an evening of play. If you want a server that never sleeps, add memory (below).
When you need more
If 1 GB is not enough for your plugins or your friends, you pay by the GB: $3 per GB a month, or $27 per GB for a whole year (three months free). Paid servers stay on, and you get backups too. You can split your memory across as many servers as you have GB, and change the amount whenever you like.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. 1 GB and one server are free forever, with no card required. You only pay if you choose to add more memory.
Is there a time limit on the free server?
The free server can stay awake for up to two hours at a time, and it sleeps when nobody is online. It wakes again when someone joins.
Can friends join without installing anything?
Yes. They add your server address in Minecraft: Java Edition, the same way as any other server. Each player needs their own copy of the game.
Does the free server show ads?
No. There are no ads on your server or in the dashboard.
