The Saryno hub: one address to find every server

By Kosy · · 2 min read

Most Minecraft servers live at an address you have to know. play.saryno.com is different: it is a small lobby where you can see every server on Saryno that its owner has made public, and walk into one with a click.

What you can do there

  • Browse. The compass in your hotbar opens a menu of servers and networks, with how many people are playing, the version and the categories. Filter by category, show only the ones that are online, or sort by votes.
  • Join without waiting. Servers on Saryno sleep when nobody is on. When you pick a sleeping one, the hub wakes it, tells you how far along it is ("waking up the network", "starting the first server") and moves you only when the door is open.
  • Add friends. Make friends on the hub, see who is online and join the server they are playing on.
  • Star favourites. Shift-click a server to star it. Your favourites are one click away.
  • Come back from anywhere. On any Saryno server, type /saryno to open the same menu or go back to the hub. On a Velocity network, the same command takes you to the hub.

How to get there

Add play.saryno.com to Minecraft Java Edition, version 1.20.5 or newer. The hub moves you between servers with Minecraft's transfer feature, which older versions do not have.

Put your own server in it

Every server you make on Saryno is on the list by default. If you would rather keep one private, open its Server list tab and switch the checkbox off. You can add a one-line description and categories there so people know what to expect.

Running your server from inside the game

Link your Minecraft account to your Saryno account (Account page, then Link my Minecraft account) and type the code on the hub with /saryno link. After that, /saryno manage on your own servers opens a menu to kick or ban players, switch the whitelist, change the time and weather, restart the game and open the dashboard.
